The game

Mind the Drop is an offline, single-player game published by Ed Rackham. It has no advertising or in-app purchases. You can play without creating an account with us. Android builds with Google Play Games support offer achievements and cloud backups; the iOS edition stores progress locally. We do not run our own gameplay analytics service.

Your save and diagnostics

Progress, settings and a small error log are stored locally on your device. Your operating system may include app data in its backups. Deleting the app may remove this data.

You can copy a save or diagnostics report yourself. These exports are not uploaded automatically. Backups contain game progress and settings. Keep them somewhere safe; restoring a backup replaces local progress.

Google Play Games on Android

Google Play Games may sign you in using the account and preferences you have chosen in Play Games. The game uses your Play Games player ID and display name to identify your save and show your profile. Earned achievements sync with Google when you are signed in. We do not request your email address, contacts or friends list.

Cloud backups begin when you choose “Create cloud backup” or “Back up this device” in Options → Cloud saves. Your progress, upgrades, settings and current delivery are then saved through Google Play Games Saved Games, with a backup about once a minute while you play. A restore requires your choice before replacing local progress. You can turn off automatic backups on the same screen.

Google processes Play Games identity, achievements and saved progress to provide these features, and collects SDK usage and diagnostics to maintain and improve its services. Connections use HTTPS. Your Play Games profile visibility controls who can see your gaming activity. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s Play Games data disclosure.

Manage sign-in, profile visibility and deletion of this game’s Play Games data in the Google Play Games settings. Turning off backups or resetting local progress does not delete an existing cloud save or earned Google achievements. See how to delete Play Games data. We do not have access to your Google account password or other games’ saves.
